Xact is a device designed for medical domains such as hospitals and clinics. It eliminates the need for large amounts of packaging currently used for medications and pills. Operating as a lid which is fitted onto a container, it allows a doctor or nurse to extract a single pill at a time with great ease. In this way, it also minimizes risk of contamination as the container itself is not opened and thus the medication is not exposed to contaminants from the surrounding environment or from the hands of the doctor or nurse.
